Site visit at Pellegrin – Trianon Link Road

The Pellegrin-Trianon Link Road, a project value to the tune of Rs 43 million with an objective to enhance connectivity at Trianon, was launched, yesterday, in the presence of the Minister of National Infrastructure, Mr Govindranath Gunness.

It will link Petit Camp Branch Road to the newly built roundabout along the M3–A14 Corridor at Ebène. Project is expected to be completed by April 2026, the link road will provide direct access between Motorway M3 and Trianon, reducing travel time, easing congestion on Motorway M1, and improving overall traffic flow.

The project comprises the construction of a single carriageway with realigned road sections and the building of a reinforced concrete culvert, alongside the upgrading and protection of existing utilities, drainage systems, and retaining structures. Road safety measures, such as markings, signage, handrails, and street lighting, will also be provided, while landscaping works will ensure the road integrates into its surroundings.
