Culvert at Impasse Tuyau
A project presentation was given to the Minister regarding the construction of a culvert at Impasse Tuyau, Biagara. The project start date being 11 July 2025 and Completion date being 12 Dec 2025, wiht a duration of 5 months and cost of Rs. 3 M. The project consist of the construction of a culvert of dimension 6.0m wide and 2.0 depth, installation of solar street lighting and river dredging works.
Construction of a Link Road along Sir Edgar Laurent Street, Curepipe
The project is a continuity of the Sir Edgar Laurent Street over a length of 80m and 6.5m wide. The project will include the construction of footpath, road side drains and a culvert of dimension 2.4m wide and 2.4m deep. The project has started on 22 July 2025 and will be completed by 26 February 2025 fpr a total cost of Rs 18M. After the construction, the road could be used by inhabitants to access on the Route du Jardin Road and Pheonix – Plaisance Road, A10.
