The Minister of National Infrastructure, Mr. Govindranath Gunness inaugurated a new access road connecting Coriolis to Residence Antoinette in Midlands. The new access road is approximately 270 meters in length and 3.5 meters in width, the new road is designed to improve traffic flow and enhance pedestrian safety in the area.
The project was initiated in response to longstanding community requests, as residents faced significant inconvenience with the narrow existing access route. Construction began in February 2025 and was completed on schedule, within the allocated budget.
The new one-way road is equipped with essential safety features, including lighting and handrails, to ensure the safety of both motorists and pedestrians. Minister Gunness expressed confidence that this development will alleviate traffic congestion in the region.
