The Flic-en-Flac Bypass project, undertaken by the Road Development Authority (RDA), aims to alleviate traffic congestion and improve regional connectivity. Spanning 5.2 km, this single-carriageway road links La Brasserie – Beaux Songes Link Road (Phase 2) to a new grade separated junction and elliptical roundabout at Cascavelle and integrates features like a three new roundabouts, an 80-meter-long box culvert and cycle tracks. The project is awarded to Transinvest Construction Ltd for Rs 1.2 billion. The project commenced in July 2023 and is scheduled for completion by July 2025. This initiative will enhance mobility, safety, and the quality of life for residents.
