The existing Holyrood Branch Road has a poor geometry with the presence of sharp bends which significantly raises the risk of occurrence of road accidents. Moreover, the traffic volume at the said locus is expected to increase with the ongoing La Brasserie- Beaux Songes Link Road project if no mitigating measures are taken.
The Upgrading of part of Holyrood project comprise upgrading of the existing Holyrood Branch Road from the newly constructed Holyrood Bridge up to the new roundabout being constructed on La Brasserie- Beaux Songes Link Road.
