The St Denis bridge is located across the Baie du Cap Chamarel Case Noyal Road (B104) and is a low-lying bridge over the River St Denis. The bridge consists of 10 existing cross drains each of 700mm in size. The bridge gets flooded during heavy rainfall, thus rendering the bridge impracticable endangering the road users. This is a recurrent problem and on several occasions the road had to be closed for security of road users and traffic has to be diverted through Le Morne.
