The Pellegrin–Trianon Link Road, constructed at a cost of Rs 43 million, was officially inaugurated today by the Minister of National Infrastructure, Mr Govindranath Gunness.
Open to traffic as from this afternoon, the new link road is expected to ease congestion and enhance connectivity between Trianon, Petit Camp and Ebène by providing motorists with an additional access route. The road connects Petit Camp Branch Road to the newly constructed roundabout along the M3–A14 Corridor at Ebène, offering a direct alternative between Motorway M3 and Trianon.
The inauguration ceremony was also attended by the Minister of Agro-Industry, Food Security, Blue Economy and Fisheries, Dr Arvin Boolell; the Government Chief Whip, Ms Marie Geneviève Stéphanie Anquetil; the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Mr Vedasingam Vasudevachariar Baloomoody; and other distinguished guests.
