Site visit from Pierrefonds to Cascavelle

The Minister of National Infrastructure, Mr Govindranath Gunness, announced that works at the Cascavelle Roundabout leading to Flic-en-Flac will be completed on Friday 14 November 2025, with the road expected to open to the public.

A site visit was conducted on 12 November 2025 from Pierrefonds to Cascavelle to review progress along the Flic-en-Flac Bypass, in the presence of Members of Parliament, representatives of the Road Development Authority, and other stakeholders.

The Minister highlighted that the new road between Beaux Songes and Cascavelle is approaching its final stages, while the remaining section towards Flic-en-Flac is also advancing steadily. He acknowledged the inconvenience caused by ongoing works and called for continued patience from road users, noting that once completed, the upgraded road network from La Vigie to Flic-en-Flac will bring significant improvements to traffic flow and travel experience in the region.
