Upgrading of bridges made by the RDA successfully withstanding heavy rain water to prevent flooding

Recent article on newspaper dated 4th Feb 2020, highlighted how the recent upgrades of bridges made by the RDA across the country, such as at Albion, Radier St Martin, Cottage, Mare Tabac and the Ste Marie Bridge, were proven to be a success in the efficient draininage of excess water following the recent heavy rainfall that occured in Mauritius. Similar upgrade works for other bridges across several other regions are in the pipeline of works to provide safety of industrial and residential zones against the issues of flooding.
