The Road Development Authority was honoured with the Bronze Award at the Public Service Excellence Award 2023 Ceremony, held on 22 May 2026 in Réduit.
The award was presented by the President of the Republic of Mauritius, Dharambeer Gokhool, together with the Minister of Public Service and Administrative Reforms, Lutchmanah Raj Pentiah, in recognition of the Authority’s outstanding commitment to innovation, service excellence and continuous improvement in public service delivery. Organised by the Ministry of Public Service and Administrative Reforms, the ceremony celebrated exemplary initiatives across Ministries, Disciplined Forces, Local Authorities and Parastatal Bodies that have contributed towards a more efficient, transparent and citizen-centred public sector.
Among the distinguished personalities present at the event were the Minister of Local Government, Ranjiv Woochit; the Minister of Arts and Culture, Mahendra Gondeea; the Junior Minister of Local Government, Mohammad Fawzi Allymun; the Member of Parliament, Farhad Ismaël Aumeer; as well as several other eminent personalities.
