The flyover will be opened to traffic on 22 May 2025 at 9:30 a.m.<\/p><p>Looking ahead, Minister Gunness highlighted that the La Vigie Flyover is envisioned as a future connection to the Eastern region. The proposed extension will run through Dubreuil and Melrose, with potential connectivity to St Julien D\u2019Hotman via Bel Etang. This aligns with the broader vision of developing a modern, safe, and efficient road network aimed at enhancing the mobility of both goods and people.<\/p><p>The project, costing approximately Rs 270 million, included the construction of the flyover bridge, slip lanes, a cycle lane, and necessary drainage
