The aimwas to assess the progress of ongoing works at the La Vigie-La Brasserie-Beaux Songes Link Road Phase II project.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">At Henrietta, the Minister was attentive to concerns raised by local residents about the<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">construction works. He assured themthat the Ministry would take swift actions to address the issues, thereby ensuring a peaceful and harmonious environment for all.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Mr Gunness further highlighted the challenges related to land acquisition at Holyrood bridge.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">After discussions with landowners, agreements were reached allowing the necessary land to be used for the project, he said.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Regarding the Pierrefonds roundabout, the Minster noted that works were delayed due to the bridge design. Following consultations with the Road Development Authority and the Land Drainage Authority, the proposal submitted by the former was chosen which resulted in a cost-saving of Rs 60 million, he added.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Minister Gunness further indicated that Phase II of the road project will be extended to the Flic-en-Flac cemetery, hence improving accessibility to the regions of Palma, Bassin, Solferino, and Flic-en-Flac.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">He also discussed the possibility of establishing a connection between Tamarin and Flic-en-Flac in the future, by using an existing road owned by Medine Group.<\/div><div
