He added that the project will be extended to the regions of Robinson and Les Casernes in Curepipe, for which land acquisition procedures are currently under way and plans are being finalised.<\/p><p data-start=\"976\" data-end=\"1151\">The Minister further emphasised that the new road is expected to significantly ease traffic congestion in the area, particularly during the upcoming Maha Shivaratree Festival.<\/p><p data-start=\"1153\" data-end=\"1523\">Following the inauguration, Ministers Gunness, Duval and Sik Yuen also launched works for the construction of a drainage network at Couvent Street in Curepipe. Valued at approximately Rs 131 million, the project covers Tout Court and Elias Coowar lanes and will subsequently be extended to Camp Levieux, Wooton, Engrais Cathan, Quatre Carreaux, Gilbert Joson and Giquel.<\/p><p data-start=\"1525\" data-end=\"1653\">The drainage works aim to reduce flood risks in the region and enhance the safety of residents during periods of heavy
